Dance Valley reveals thirt part of line-up
PURMEREND, 14th of March - On Saturday July 12th, 2008, Dance Valley Festival will experience its fourteenth edition on Saturday, July 12th, 2008. Whether this will be your first Dance Valley experience or you have attended every festival since the beginning, we have something refreshing and surprising in store for you including the spectacular resurrection of the second Valley, a completely new area lay-out and a series of big artists making their first appearance at Dance Valley Festival.
High Quality
High Quality was present at the first edition and is still going strong. The High Quality Sound has become much broader over the past few years, and includes not only UK Hardhouse, but everything that is hard. From hardstyle to hard-trance and from psy-trance to schranz, as long it’s High Quality.
The main attraction this year will be the Dance Valley debut of ASTRIX. This Israeli superstar is one of the biggest names in the psy-trance scene, and at 18th place he is the highest-scoring hardstyle DJ in the DJ top 100. Other hardstyle heroes like Scot Project, Proteus, Danny D and Tom Harding will be our guides on a very intense ‘journey into sound’.

Toolroom Knights
Since their launch during the Amsterdam Dance Event in 2006, the Knights of Toolroom Records have been steadily working to conquer every dance floor around the globe. After their big successes in metropoles like London, Paris, Cape Town, Sydney, Ibiza and a legendary appearance at the Brazilian Creamfields, it is finally Dance Valley's turn.
Toolroom residents like Dave Spoon and D. Ramirez will be serving up a steamy helping of electro, house and a pinch of techno. Other Toolroom DJ's will include the head of the label, Mark Knight, superstar John Dahlback, the only Dutch Knight Martijn ten Velden, and the Israeli master DJ Shlomi Abera will be laying down a very special set. Wicked Jazz Sounds
At Wicked Jazz Sounds, DJ’s and musicians play together with the motto ‘Where Jazz Meets Dance’ and with the goal of 'making you dance with a smile!’. What started as a local radio show in 1998 grew into one of the best-running club nights in Amsterdam. With a series of CD releases, Wicked Jazz Sounds’ fame has expanded outside of the Netherlands to become a leading institution in jazz dance. We can expect a warm shower of jazz, hiphop, soul, funk, broken-beat, house and just plain old good music this year at Dance Valley. Dance with a smile!
