12 Years ago in 1993 the 2nd chapter Thunderdome took place in the Jaarbeurs located in Utrecht. More than 25.000 people were part of this legenday event! The Prins Willem van Oranje Hal was filled to the notch with tough guys and chicks that wanted to experience something else. After this event Thunderdome dominated the hardcore scene! With events that has taken place in the Martini halls in Groningen, FEC in Leeuwarden, Expo in Hengelo, Thialf in Heerenveen, Rai in Amsterdam and outside the Netherlands in Oberhausen (DE), Antwerpen (Be), Schwerin (DE) and even in Australia, more than a million visitors experienced the Thunderdome feeling. Up till now there is still no dance event that got close to these numbers.

Next to the huge amount of visitors that has turned Thunderdome into a real event concept also more than 3 million CDs were sold in the Netherlands and the Thunderdome concept was also released in Germany and Spain. More than 30 tours events were made around the globe and even more surprising is the fact that more than 100 people in the Netherlands are having a tattoo of the famous logo named ‘The Puppet’ a.k.a ‘The Wizard’, also known as “The Wizard”! We can continue with all these facts about Thunderdome but it is clearly that Thunderdome was, Thunderdome is and Thunderdome will always be!

On the 3rd of December one of the most beautiful areas of the Jaarbeurs complex will be transformed into the hardcore happening of 2005! After a spectacular Thunderdome event in 2004, where more than 20.000 ravers experienced a sound that was hard, a atmosphere that was friendly and DJs that were rocking the decks, Thunderdome will take you back to those early days where it all began and how it used to be! Next to the massive Prins Willem van Oranje hall there will be a second area just like last year! Only today’s best artists as well as from those early days will have the opportunity to get the sympathy of the criticism of the hardcore minded people!
